The Wolf Pack Experience

The College of Engineering strives to offer a welcoming environment that allows everyone to realize their full potential. From the E-FIT program for incoming freshmen to Transfer Student Day to all the hard work, club meetings and activities that follow, the Wolf Pack Experience is a pivotal time. Here are just a few snapshots of life in the College of Engineering. Below are snapshot throughout the academic year.

  • Incoming freshmen participate in E-FIT, the College’s fall program designed to facilitate the transition to college from high school.
  • Twenty+ clubs offer students the chance to network and explore different engineering interests. Above, see the Wolf Pack Racing Team.
  • Twenty+ clubs offer students the chance to network and explore different engineering interests. Above, see the Concrete Canoe team.
  • Faculty and staff do the cooking and serving at engineering barbecues or other get-togethers in the spring and fall semesters.
  • International exchange programs, including several programs in South Korea, expose students to engineering in other cultures.
  • Engineering Career fairs offered in the spring and fall semester bring together hundreds of students and 90+ employers.
  • Graduating students accept and recite the Obligation of an Engineer, stating public and professional ethics and responsibilities, at Order of the Engineer ceremonies in spring and fall.
  • The moment we’ve all been waiting for — graduation! In Spring 2024, the College conferred 402 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. The Fall 2024 semester saw 167 students receive bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.
