These courses focus on humanities, arts and social science through a combination of online instruction, lectures, tours and more! All programs have limited space. Prices are based on Nevada residency, are per person and do not include airfare.

    • HIST 120: Intro to Environmental History: Climate, Crisis, Contagion (satisfies CO9)
    • ITAL 221: Italy and Its Culture (satisfies CO11)
  • Professors: Ned Schoolman, History and Erica Westhoff, Italian
  • About: This Wintermester study鈥慳broad program immerses students in Italian history, culture and environment through living and studying in Florence. Combining classroom learning with site visits and field鈥慴ased experiences, students take complementary courses in environmental history and Italian culture, gaining an interdisciplinary perspective on Italy from antiquity to the present.
  • Fees include: Course registration fees, travel insurance, lodging in double occupancy rooms and most cultural activities. Airfare to Florence is not included.
