Advising

We offer educational advising for all students in the School of Public Health. Academic advisors work hard to teach, empower and foster close relationships with students. Advisors assist students with understanding degree requirements and course progression. Students and advisors work together to develop academic plans that are efficient and lead to a timely graduation.

If you are not a current School of Public Health Major, please email your advisor directly or email SPHAdvising@unr.edu or call (775) 682-5930 for an advising appointment. You can find who your advisor is below.

Drop-in times are available the first week of the spring semester, January 20 until January 23: 

  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday:
    • 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
    • 1:30-4:00 p.m.
  • Friday:
    • 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Drop-in advising is for quick questions/answers - 5-15 minutes.  If you need longer than 15 minutes, please schedule an appointment with your advisor.
