Welcome
It’s always a highlight of the year for me to gather with all of you and celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of our College.
Since the time I arrived here over 10 years ago, I have observed all of you – our students, faculty, staff and supporters – working hard to accomplish our College’s goals and to enrich our communities and our state. Despite the broader uncertainties and challenges we’ve navigated this year, I have seen you all showing up and giving 100% every day. It hasn’t gone unnoticed, and I truly appreciate it. It’s the Wolf Pack Way.
While one evening can’t begin to capture the full scope of excellence from this past year, it is a joy to spotlight some particular accomplishments that are representative of the outstanding teaching, learning, research and engagement that define our University’s tripartite mission as a land-grant institution.
Whether in the classroom, the lab, the field or the community center, I have observed your dedication to excellence and a cause greater than oneself. Tonight, I thank you all for that, and hope you enjoy this evening sharing in each other’s successes as much as I will.
