Faculty Senate meetings
The Faculty Senate serves as the principal body for faculty shared governance at the University, providing a forum for faculty participation in institutional decision-making. Senate meetings include visits and discussions with University leadership, consideration of issues and policies of interest to faculty, reports and recommendations from Senate committees, and the review and approval of University policies and procedures, including proposed revisions to the University Administrative Manual (UAM).
The Faculty Senate traditionally meets during the fall and spring semesters on Fridays from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., with the exception of Prep Days. All are welcome to attend Faculty Senate meetings as audience members, either in person or via Zoom. The Zoom link for each meeting is provided in the meeting agenda. Participation in Senate discussion is limited to members of the Faculty Senate and invited guests.
