Designed for collaboration, this hall houses many of the University’s Living Learning Communities where students with shared majors or interests live and learn together. All student rooms in Great Basin Hall are carpeted and include a desk, chair, closet, bed and mattress, and a chest of drawers for each student.
Yes. All residents have access to the free laundry facility at Great Basin that includes free use of washers and dryers.
No. Personal pets and/or animals are not allowed at Great Basin Hall. Students may receive approval for a service or emotional support animal with approval through the Disability Resource Center and the Office of Residential Life, Housing and Food Services.
The bed frames in Great Basin Hall can be raised and lowered (four adjustable heights) or bunked. Students are permitted to rearrange their rooms how they prefer, but at move-out, the room must be returned to how it was arranged during move-in.
