With meeting rooms, residence halls, dining, and recreation all on campus, we鈥檒l help you plan and host a memorable event. Residence halls are available late May through early August, with flexible options for individuals and groups.

Housing options
More affordable than hotels, our residence hall accommodations offer double, triple or single occupancy rooms, with ADA-accessible options available upon request. Each room includes basic furnishings, Wi-Fi, laundry access and secure entry, with optional linen service for a small fee.
Room configurations and rates
Rooms are configured for 2-3 people and can be booked as single, double or triple occupancy. Configurations are dependent upon the hall. Rates are dependent upon occupancy.
2026 room rates
- Single Occupancy - $51.62 per night per person
- Double Occupancy - $34.41 per night per person
- Triple Occupancy - $28.68 per night per person
- Linens - $28 per packet per person
ADA-accessible rooms are available upon request. If occupants will be bringing a service animal, please contact the housing office or conference team for more information.
Residence hall amenities
Basic room with a bed, dresser, desk and chair. Depending on the hall, some bathrooms are located inside the room and some are shared bathrooms per floor with locking shower and bathroom stalls.

Dining services
Campus dining at Pack Place
Buffet-style meals with vegetarian and vegan options. All meals are served from Pack Place, the University’s dining hall that offers All-You-Care-to-Eat meals. Pack Place is located inside Argenta Hall.
Boxed meals available
Convenient for busy conference schedules. Boxed meals may be an option for your group. Meals must be ordered in advance. Please contact dining services with boxed meal requests.
Catering services
Custom menus for banquets and special events. Any meal service requests outside of Pack Place must be booked through the University’s Silver & Blue Catering service. Learn more about Silver & Blue Catering.

- Secure the dates you want to book with out team.
- Visit the University to explore the campus.
- Review the contract.
- Share conference materials, including Summer Conference Housing contract, with members of your event planning committee.
- Discuss any catering or special dining needs your group may have with your coordinator.
- Finalize your program schedule.
- Inform attendees of the parking fees necessary to park on campus, if required.
- Confirm any ADA special requests for your event.
- Confirm dates with housing coordinator.
- Submit by 5 p.m. 30 days prior to the conference start date the minimum guarantee number of individuals contracted for all services.
- Complete reservation and submit deposit once contract is signed.
- Submit completed housing roster by 5 p.m. no later than 10 days prior to the start of your event.
- The University will invoice the guest for the cost of housing and any additional services within 15 days following the guest departure date.
- Guest will pay the invoice in full within 30 days of the date of the invoice.

The University hosts a wide variety of conferences, including youth groups, sports groups, research students, academic camps and language associations.
The University Summer Housing Conference program can accommodate nearly any size booking, from individuals to groups up to 2,000.
Yes, the University can certainly provide ADA accessible rooms upon request.
Attendees must obtain a summer parking permit from the University Parking Services. Please contact University Parking Services at parking@unr.edu to arrange the appropriate parking pass for your stay.
No, alcoholic beverages are not allowed in our residence halls in the summer, even if occupants are 21 or older.
No, accommodations are only available during the summer, typically from late May through early August.

- All cancellations must be submitted in writing to RLHFSconferences@unr.edu.
- Cancellations received more than 90 days prior to the event will not incur penalties.
- Cancellations received within 61-89 days of the event are subject to a 75% deposit refund.
- Cancellations received within 31-60 days of the event are subject to a 50% deposit refund.
- Cancellations received within 30 days of the event are subject to no refund of the deposit.
