One of the original residence halls on campus, Manzanita was built in 1896 and is an historic three-story building that can accommodate up to 100 residents. Renovated in 2019, Manzanita hall has updated bedrooms and connects directly to Juniper Hall, where they share a community lounge on the first floor. Facing Manzanita Lake, the hall is steps away from The Overlook Food Court and and the University's nationally known Quad.

The bed frames in Manzanita Hall can be raised and lowered (four adjustable heights) or bunked. Students are permitted to rearrange their rooms how they prefer, but at move-out, the room must be returned to how it was arranged during move-in.
