Proud Lake Tahoe Music Camp scholarship donors

Gareth Ferneyhough Lake Tahoe Music Camp Memorial Endowment

The Gareth Ferneyhough Lake Tahoe Music Camp Memorial Endowment, established in 2021, honors Gareth’s lifelong passion for music by providing annual partial scholarships covering half of the Lake Tahoe Music Camp registration fee. Music played a central role in Gareth’s life—from his formative first experience at the camp at age 13, to performing French horn in the university orchestra while studying computer science, to playing in community orchestras in Seattle. Created by his friends and family, the endowment celebrates Gareth’s memory by helping other young musicians pursue their love of music at Lake Tahoe Music Camp.

Reno Blues Society

The Reno Blues Society’s Music Grants Program offers a limited number of official Camp scholarships to support local music students and further their musical education. Aligned with the Society’s mission to promote the culture, history, and diversity of blues music, the program provides individual and group grants to help students ages 9–18 across all music genres access instruments, equipment, and educational opportunities.
