General information
- What is Pack Rides? We're a free University service offering safe rides between campus and your home. See our policies, penalties and restrictions.

 - Who can use Pack Rides? Any student, faculty, staff, or visitor connected to the University.
 - Pickup locations: Track your van in the app, or ask dispatch where to meet it if you call in.
 
Must-know policies
- No third-party locations: We only go between homes and campus, not to nearby restaurants or stores. See exceptions.
 - Walk-on/walk-off: Be at your pickup and drop-off points when we arrive.
 - No minors: We can't transport children under University policy.
 - No alcohol: Alcohol isn't allowed on the retail (or any other) campus shuttle.
 
Accessibility
- Need an accessible van? No problem! Reserve an ADA van for retail shopping by calling (775) 742-6808 or emailing packrides@unr.edu.
 - Wheelchair assistance: We are happy to accommodate you! Just let us know in the app or when you call.
 
Timing and availability
- Wait time: Usually 10-15 minutes. Track real-time updates in the app.
 - First come, first served: We can’t take reservations ahead of time.
 
Safety and support
- Safe drivers: All drivers pass background checks and take defensive driving courses.
 - Car issues? We can help with battery jumps and tire changes during service hours.
 - Lost something? Call us the same day at (775) 742-6808 or check the Lost and Found at Joe Crowley Student Union.
