UDOIT guide for students
In UDOIT, selecting the drop-down arrow adjacent to a file in WebCampus allows students to choose from the following accessible alternative formats.
- Optimized PDF: A PDF version that has been remediated and improved to support accessibility requirements, including proper tagging structure, meaningful alternative text for images, appropriate color contrast, and a logical reading order. These enhancements help ensure that documents can be effectively accessed and interpreted by users who rely on assistive technologies.
- HTML: An HTML version for viewing in a browser or on a mobile device. This version may provide a better experience for users leveraging screen-readers.
- ePub: An e-book version that works with e-readers such as Kindle, an iPad, or web-based ePub readers.
- Audio: A single MP3 audio version of the file.
- Text: A plain text file that can be viewed with popular text file software such as Notepad and Notepad++ for Windows and TextEdit for macOS.
