  • Students who applied by February 15, have a "completed" housing application status, and have an email confirmation for a Living Learning Community as their housing choice will be assigned a room selection lottery time slot for room self selection starting March 3, 2026 through March 10, 2026.

  • If you applied before February 15, we will email your lottery time to you on March 5, 2026, and your lottery time slot will begin on March 10, 2026.
    
  • If you applied between February 16 and March 6, we will email your lottery time to you on March 19, 2026, and your lottery time slot will begin on March 24, 2026.

March

  • Students that applied by February 15 will be emailed a lottery time on March 5, 2026, and your lottery time slots will begin March 10, 2026

  • If you applied between February 16 and March 6, we will email your lottery time to you on March 19, 2026 and your lottery time slot will begin on March 24, 2026.
  • If you applied between March 7 and March 27, we will email your lottery time to you on April 2, 2026, and your lottery time slot will begin on April 7, 2026.

April

• Prospective and returning students can apply for 2026-2027 housing | Ongoing
  • Students with a completed application can start self-selecting their building/room in the student housing portal.
• Room self-selection paused| April 1-April 6, 2026
  • The self-selection process will be paused April 1 through April 6 and April 29 through May 12, 2026 to refresh and update inventory.
• Room self-selection 
  • If you applied between March 7 and March 27, we will email your lottery time to you on April 2, and your lottery time slot will begin on April 7, 2026.
  • If you applied between March 28 and April 3, we will email your lottery time to you on April 9, and your lottery time slot will begin on April 14, 2026.
  • If you applied between April 4 and April 10, we will email your lottery time to you on April 16, and your lottery time slot will begin on April 21, 2026.
  • If you applied between April 11 and May 1, we will email your lottery time to you on May 7, and your lottery time slot will begin on May 12, 2026.

May

  • If you applied between April 11 and May 1, we will email your lottery time to you on May 7, 2026 and your lottery time slot will begin on May 12, 2026.
  • If you applied between May 2 and May 8, we will email your lottery time to you on May 14, 2026 and your lottery time slot will begin on May 19, 2026.
  • If you applied between May 9 and May 15, we will email your lottery time to you on May 21, 2026 and your lottery time slot will begin on May 26, 2026.
  • If you applied between May 16 and May 22, we will email your lottery time to you on May 28, 2026 and your lottery time slot will begin on June 2, 2026.
• Housing & Meal Plan Charges to be applied | May 15, 2026
  • Around May 15, 2026 housing and dining charges will begin to be applied to student accounts, students must have a housing assignment prior to charges being able to be applied. 

June

  • If you applied between May 23 and May 29, we will email your lottery time to you on June 4, 2026 and your lottery time slot will begin on June 9, 2026.
  • If you applied between May 30 and June 5, we will email your lottery time to you on June 11, 2026 and your lottery time slot will begin on June 16, 2026.
  • If you applied between June 6 and June 15, we will email your lottery time to you on June 18, 2026 and your lottery time slot will begin on June 23, 2026.
  • Fully closes on June 30, 2026 for all students
• Housing down payment due | June 15, 2026
  • • $300 down payment (applied to fall semester housing charges) is due for all applications, with the exception of students who were provided a written waiver of this requirement.
    • Deadline for students with a "completed" application to self-select their building/room in the student housing portal
      • Students who apply for housing after June 15 will receive their room assignments and move in details mid-July
    • Deadline to cancel your housing application without penalty. Students who don't pay by June 15 (and who do not have a written waiver) risk having their housing assignment canceled and are subject to cancellation fees as listed in the license agreement. Cancellation requests received after this date are subject to the terms in the license agreement. 
    • Guarantor form due. Any student under 18 at the time of application must submit the guarantor form
• University Deadlines | June 15, 2026
  • Acceptance of admission to the ҹɫÊÓƵ due
  • Proof of meningitis vaccination due. The University must have this proof on file prior to the student moving into on-campus housing. 

July

• Early arrival form is available | July 1, 2026
  • Students needing to move in to the residence halls prior to the scheduled move in dates may make a request to move in early. Students must have prior permission before arranging travel and approval is not guaranteed. Requests can be made through the starting July 1 through July 31, 2026.
• Housing assignment for Academic Year 2025-2026 
  
  • Students who have applied between June 16 and June 30 will receive their housing assignment on July 2, 2026.
  • Students who have applied between July 1 and July 7 will receive their housing assignment on July 9, 2026
  • Students who have applied between July 8 and July 14 will receive their housing assignment on July 16, 2026
  • Students who have applied between July 15 and July 21 will receive their housing assignment on July 23, 2026
  • Students who have applied between July 22 and July 28 will receive their housing assignment on July 30, 2026
• Room change request form opens  | July 14, 202
  • Room change request period opens for all assigned students. Requests can be made through the starting July 14 through July 24, 2026.
  • Room change requests will be processed in the order they are received pending availability. It may not be possible to accommodate all requests.

August

• Meal plan change request opens | Aug 1, 2025
  • Meal plan change request period runs August 1 through September 12, 2025 - students are allowed a lifestyle meal plan change through the third week of each semester, only upgrades are allowed after that date. To request a meal plan change, please visit the student housing portal and complete the meal plan change academic year application
• NevadaFIT move-in | Aug 14 - 16, 2025
  • Residence halls open for NevadaFIT, visit our move-in day page
• NevadaFit opening ceremony and start to NevadaFit  | Aug 17, 2025
• Returning student move-in | Aug 22, 2025

  • This Spring application is available for all incoming students (first-year students, continuing students, transfer students, etc.). Students currently living on campus do not need to fill out a new application for the Spring semester
